Who We Are

Catkin Gardens is a family run, green-fingered team, with an abundance of qualifications and a vast amount of experience within the garden setting between us. We provide a friendly and professional garden design and management service in and around Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.

John trained and worked at Hadlow College, building up a wealth of knowledge and experience which he has put to use in gardens throughout the area. A real plantsman, passionate about nature and wildlife since a young boy, he is happiest when he is putting his skills to the test, be that in plant care, planting design or a large pruning job.

Phoebe’s background is in design, achieving a distinction in Garden Design from the University of Greenwich, followed by a year working for a Chelsea Gold award winning designer. Like her father, she enjoys working outside with plants, between stints at the drawing board.

Since starting the company we've taken on another pair of hands: Ned joined us in 2021 and has RHS Level 2 certification.
